 Power 10 Foundation envisions a world where no person or family facing serious or rare illness feels unseen, unsupported, or alone.

 

We believe that healing is not only medical. True care includes comfort, dignity, emotional support, and community, especially during life’s most overwhelming moments. Our vision is to redefine how communities show up for families in crisis by turning compassion into consistent, tangible action.

 

Power of 10 Foundation strives to build a future where:

 

  • Every hospitalized individual experiences moments of comfort, joy, and normalcy

  • Families are met with empathy, not silence, during treatment, uncertainty, and grief

Our long-term vision is to be a recognized leader in compassionate pediatric support, known not just for what we give, but for how we give, with integrity, care, and heart.

The Full Story

The Founder

Founder, Sarah-Jean has been sick since she was in high school. In 2016 she fell extremely ill and was bedridden. She spent a year using a wheelchair part of the time, but that didn't bring her down. Even after spending 40 hours a week with doctors for years she kept trying to bring happiness to others. One day she received a care package that inspired her to spend her last $150 to send care packages to the ill. She, even when she thought everyday was a struggle to make it to another day, she found ways to bring a smile to the faces of the Chronically ill, Terminally ill and Disability community.

Mission

Power of 10 Foundation is a mission-driven nonprofit created from lived experience, compassion, and action. The organization exists to support individuals  with serious and rare illnesses, with a strong emphasis on medically complex care.

 

At its core, Power of 10 Foundation believes that small acts, multiplied by community, create powerful impact. That philosophy shows up in everything you do.
